Directories to Submit Your Sites To
We get asked a lot of questions about
submitting sites to directories. Which ones are good, which ones are bad, should I even bother

We have come up with a great list of directories that are all wahmmy.com approved.
They are all SEO
friendly and will help provide a boost to your site's traffic.
Directories that list your site for free in exchange for a reciprocal link are getting harder to
come by as more and more directories realize that they can charge for submissions, but they do exist.
Many of the free directories also have a premium submission fee that will get you listed sooner and
will not require you to place a reciprocal link. We always suggest trying the free submission first.

You can submit sites that are run by work at home parents, and sites that are related to helping
WAHM's and WAHD's run their online businesses. If you don't see an appropriate category to add your
site to, suggest one when you are submitting your site and we will add it!

This is a small but growing directory. They have a PR5 home page and all of the
category pages are at least PR3. They have plenty of categories for you to submit your shopping
site to.

This directory actually has 3 different options when submitting a site to them. You can choose a free
listing with no reciprocal required, but your chances of getting listed are slim to none. They also
have a free submission with reciprocal link required (my personal choice), and a premium submission
that has a fee of $19.95 per year.

This is a newer looking directory that has free submissions (with reciprocal link). I have not
submitted any sites here as of yet, but they do have page rank and are SEO friendly so it
certainly doesn't hurt to submit to them.

This directory has a TON of categories and subcategories to choose from. The only drawback is that
they are so specific that by the time you get down to the subcategory for your particular niche, the
pagerank is pretty diluted. Still not a bad place to submit.

Ok, the price is a little steep, but if you consider how much you would pay to advertise elsewhere,
it is really not that bad for a one-way link from a page with good pagerank. You will also get a
fair amount of traffic from them. If you don't want to pay yearly for a link, they also have a
$199.95 one time fee option. If you are sure that your site is going to be around for many years,
this might be a better way to go. They have been around since 1994 so you know they are not just
going to disappear one day. I personally use their services just for the awesome one-way links
and page rank boost!

VERY nice looking directory! This is well laid out, lots of categories to choose from. They offer

I have not personally submitted any sites to this directory as of yet but it looks like a solid
place to list your site. The only thing I can see against them is they only list 10 sites
per page, so if you end up on page 2, 3, 4, etc of any category you will be on a page with slightly
less page rank. They do have a $19.95/yr premium listing that guarantees you will be listed above
all of the standard listings in the category.

With a PR6 home page this looks like another good place to submit. They have been around for a couple years
which is also a good sign. In my opinion, to ask for money AND require a reciprocal link is a bit much,
but it is still an seo friendly directory that will give you good links. They also have some more pricey
options that don't require a reciprocal link.

Not the nicest-looking directory, but they have been around for a long time and do have decent page rank.
I have submitted a few sites here and been happy. They have a premium submission for $19.99 (one
time) that will get you listed fast and no reciprocal is required.

This is a nice directory with plenty of categories to choose from to submit your site to. If you upgrade to
a featured link you will be displayed at the top, and they will allow you to add up to 3 extra links of
other pages from your site (must be from the same domain).

The price is $49.95 per year for a regular listing. Premium listings are extra, however they will
allow you to use anchor text (keywords) in your title instead of your official site name which is
useful for SEO purposes. Of all of the directories that charge a yearly fee, this is one of the
better ones in my opinion.
